Sunday 13 December 2026 · Bondi Beach

15 laps.
15 lives.
One community.

On the eve of the first anniversary, we come together at Bondi to run 15 laps, one for each person we lost. Every pace is welcome. Stay for coffee, food and each others company!

Why we're gathering

The Matilda Bee, holding a menorah

In December 2025, 15 people were taken from our community at Bondi. A year on, we want to remember them in a way that brings people together: on the beach they loved, moving side by side.

Each lap is dedicated to one person. Their names and stories will stand along the course, shared with the blessing of their families.

We're also here to celebrate what we still have: a beautiful community in our beautiful backyard. Bondi is ours, and we'll keep showing up for it and for each other. We are stronger than ever!

This is a free community event. It isn't a race, and nobody is timed. Do one lap, all fifteen or even just hang out and enjoy our coffee and food!

Each lap is in memory of one of the 15 we lost.
